Dalton Village School District board met May 4 with architect Mr. Spahn of Spahn & Barnes. They awarded coal contracts to C. K. Douglas and Stanley Nussbaum and authorized preliminary work with several design options. Resignations of Vivian Douglas and Florida Yeaman accepted. Ethel Amstutz hired as elementary teacher. Glen Berg elected enumerator. David Watkins hired to clean septic tanks. Fence for Silver Hill school and sewer tile for Kidron school approved. Board adjourned.
