His talk Where Our Tax Dollar Goes is sponsored by Sugar Creek Township Grange and the Dalton Chamber of Commerce. Attendees are urged to attend and the Grange postpones its April meeting.

Fire destroys Burton City home. $800 loss reported
A noon Sunday fire levelled the Harry Landis residence near Burton City. The two story home suffered extensive interior damage and most furniture was ruined. Mr. Landis, returning from church, alerted the Orrville fire department after calling from a neighbor. No insurance covered contents or building. Dalton and Orrville fire crews battled stubborn flames in walls and basement, saving little of the first floor.

Wayne County Coon Hunters Release Ten Female Coons
