Messrs Amos B. Horst and Henry Denbrock bought the Jacob Horst store and tip business yesterday and will take over once stock invoices are finalized.
Mike Eckard a Bricker Auto Livery driver escaped serious harm Friday afternoon while transporting Mrs. Carl of Akron from Orrville to the station. A westbound freight on the Wheeling line struck the Ford sedan from behind, turning it around. Mrs. Carl suffered a badly bruised arm, Eckard was unharmed.
John Milner of Chicago and Mrs Evelyn Uhl of Orrville listed for marriage by local clergy Rev F S Zaugeg Rev Flohr. Edward Hunsinger of Mt Eaton and Florence Swisher of Dalton also authorized marriage by Rev Flohr.

Wayne county board of election received notice from Secretary of State Smith to begin April primary preparations. The April 27 election will include presidential and delegate ballots with four ballots for Democratic and Republican parties. Women are expected to vote since no referendum petition has been filed to block their participation. An August 10 secondary primary will nominate state and county officials with votes on all questions unless a referendum is requested.
