Air gun youths blamed for bird deaths and school damage
Report notes boys using air guns killed robins doves and other songbirds. Two south side school windows were penetrated by bb shot. Authorities are rounding up the boys and warning that future offenses will be severely dealt with.
Kruschenske Couple Return From Week-Long Motoring Trip
Mr and Mrs Chas Kruschenske completed a week long motor trip visiting Washington Mt Vernon Arlington Baltimore Atlantic City Philadelphia Valley Forge and Gettysburg. Nine miles west of Gettysburg Mrs Kruschenske fell from the car while closing the door and sustained cuts and bruises though no bones were broken. A doctor treated the injuries eight miles farther on.
