Dalton High announces Friday June 4 at 8:00 p m for commencement in the stadium. The last day for pupils is Friday. Next week teachers finish grades with reports completed by June 8. The Dalton Gazette adds new columnists including Ethelberta Hartman and a photo planned for next week.
The Dalston 4H Equestrian Club hosts a Teenage Fun Show at Dalton Park on Saturday June 12 at 7 p m. Six equitation and nine contest classes include barrel racing and crawl through barrel. Open to entrants aged 10 to 19. Judge is Bob Johnson of Canal Fulton. Admission 50 cents, free for children under 12. Refreshments available.

Ivan D. Moser 58 of 26 East Main died Monday morning at Dunlap hospital after a heart attack. A Dalton native and furnace tender at Union Drawn Steel, he was a member of Salem Mennonite Church. Surviving: wife Mabel. daughters Shirley Wyss of Kidron and Carol at home. son William at home. sister Martha Rhodes of Rockford. foster sister Virginia Weuthrich of Mansfield. brother Rollin of Fort Wayne. Funeral at Salem Mennonite Church Thursday at 1 00 p m with Rev Heinz Jianzen officiating. burial in church cemetery.
