A large crowd attended Memorial day exercises in Dalton on Sunday afternoon. The procession from the town hall featured Dr. L. L. DeArment on a cream horse Chico, with the 11th Regiment band. Hon. Daniel E. Morgan spoke, Rev. H. F. Patterson and Paul Gerber performed, and the crowd joined in America. Evening services in the high school auditorium featured sermons by Rev. R. G. Pinkerton and a repeat of The Rose Maiden cantata.
