Memorial Day Parade Lights Dalton With Pride and Color
Memorial Day in Dalton featured dancing Arabian pony Chico and Dr. L L DeArment leading the parade. The 11th Regiment Band and Dalton’s Own High School Band provided music as Boy Scouts, officials, firemen, and flower bearers marched to the cemetery for flag and grave decorations. Traffic was detoured or stopped and streets were prepared with pride before the observance.
