Fletcher Reunion at Chippewa Lake in 1924

The Fletcher family held its first reunion at Chippewa Lake on Sunday July 20 with about 100 members and friends. A picnic dinner followed by a business meeting decided to host the next gathering at David Fletcher’s near Bowdil on Labor Day 1925. Dalton attendees included Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Gibson and family, Mrs. Roxie Farmer, Mrs. Joella Hoiles, and Lloyd Poorman.

Funk Committee Repounds Support for Judge Funk Re-nomination

Floyd Saurer and Elam Gerber call off a sale of property after protests over closing the Kidron blacksmith shop, which will remain open. Earl Gerber welcomed a ten pound boy. Several local families visited relatives and traveled to Portage County and Lattisb urg. Others noted slight stroke recovery for Chr Zuercher Sr. and continued mobility.
