The Dalton Presbyterian church presents its annual school program Friday at 8 with songs tableaux and pageants and gifts for needy children. Christmas Sunday features a 9 30 children's and youth program and Christmas morning worship with special music and infant baptisms.

VFW turkey shoot winners and cantata delight Dalton church
Winners at the VFW turkey shoot Sunday afternoon were Harry Forrer Albert Stealy Vern McFarren of Akron each one and Fred Yunker of Loudonville two. A Christmas cantata The Child of Bethlehem was presented Sunday evening by the Dalton Methodist church choir directed by Mrs C A Bates with Mrs I Glen Berg as organist. The church was filled to capacity and the production was enjoyed by all with new robes worn by choir minister Rev L E Flauhaus director and organist.

The bride wore a brown suit with yellow rosebud corsage and was attended by Miss Geneva Hartzler with brown dress and white carnation corsage. Best man was Nobil Flinner. The couple will reside in Dalton after a short honeymoon.

Mrs. Alice Gregory 78 Dies After Seven Months Illness
Mrs. Alice Gregory a life long Dalton resident died Saturday morning at her daughter Irene Schaller’s home in Wadsworth after seven months illness. The widow of Joseph Gregory she leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Monbarren home in Dalton Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. L E Flauhaus officiating. Burial was in Dalton cemetery.
