Santa Claus To Make His Annual Appearance
Santa Claus will meet the children of the community inside the Dalton fire station on Saturday evening December 23 at 7:00. Each child will receive a treat and Vic Gerber's carolers will provide Christmas music. The event is a joint effort of the Garden Club Rotary Club Community Club VFW Ladies Auxiliary Boy Scouts Dalton Community Guild the Firemen and PA.

Sonnenberg Mennonite School Christmas Program Scheduled
The Sonnenberg Mennonite school will host its annual Christmas program Thursday at 7 45 p m at the school. The Kidron church program follows Sunday evening by the church Chorus and a Christmas morning program by the children. Salem church will also present a Christmas program Sunday evening. Elizabeth Lehman broke a leg skating near home Monday evening. Mrs Elizabeth Lehman is largely bedfast at the Menno Lehman home. Charles Weaver of the Kidron telephone exchange died last Thursday. Gerhard Schmidt from Germany spoke at Salem church on Christmas traditions. Mrs Salome Kratzer, 55, died in Portland Ore after a December 7 stroke. New arrivals: Vernon and wife of Dalton welcomed a son born December 14 1950 at Wooster Community Hospital weighing 7 lbs 10 oz named Ned Pynn.
