The Golden Staff Society of Martin and Pleasant View churches held a Tuesday social at Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Hostettler home. About 54 young people attended a program, officer elections, games, contests, and refreshments by the hostess. Levi Horst born February 16 1862 died November 28 1938 aged 76 years 9 months 12 days He married Anna Brenneman on November 1 1888 and after her death in 1902 he wed Barbara Shoup in 1904 He leaves three children Elmer B Horst of Apple Creek and two daughters from Dalton plus thirteen grandchildren two great grandchildren and three brothers David Frank and Jacob Horst He was a Mennonite church member and mourners recall a faith filled life with family notes and Memorial lines

Misses Fay Pickens Evangeline White and Louise Gano attended the Wooster teachers institute on Saturday delivering addresses on school subjects. Wm E Heller 56 former County Auditor 1923 7 died Sunday at his Wooster home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife and two sons. Funeral was held Wednesday afternoon.
