Accidents On the Up Twenty One Die in Ohio Weekend

Saturday a 19 year old Donald Steiner overturned his car near Dalton on Rt 94 after braking to avoid an oncoming truck. only property damage. John Keener, 18, from Orrville, is hospitalized with multiple injuries after a head on collision near Dalton involving John L. Mullett of Wooster, who faces DWI charges. Mullett received a $200 fine, six months in jail, license revocation for a year, and probation with restitution conditions. five and a half months of sentence suspended pending damages.

Irvin Richwine eighty four died at 1 30 a m Monday from injuries after being struck by an automobile Sunday at 7 p m while crossing near his barn thirty miles east of Wooster in Wayne county He lived in East Union township survived by a second wife two daughters from his first marriage four grandchildren and two great grandchildren Funeral services were held Wednesday at the East Union Lutheran church He had lived his entire life in the township and his death raises the year’s Wayne county traffic fatalities to nine.
