A Wisconsin dispatch from Buffalo reports that the Lake Carriers association estimates show a three inch fall in lake levels would cut carrying capacity by 1,142,307 tons and reduce earnings by 571,185. Six inches would drop capacity by 2,284,614 tons and earnings by 1,142,370. Nine inches would trim capacity by 3,427,170 tons and erase 1,713,555 in earnings.
