Juniors to Present Concert Series at City Park
The Y M C A 4 Junior Band plans Sunday concerts in September at City Park with special programs and youthful soloists. They have already given 24 engagements in town and beyond including a White House appearance for President Roosevelt and the Kiwanians convention. The first band will expand next month as about 40 beginners move up, and a new beginners class will be organized. The annual Pen Mar picnic hosted around 300 attendees with fathers and sons contests and a tug of war ending in a sons victory.
