The report details extensive health screenings in Hagerstown schools. It lists counts of enlarged tonsils, vision and hearing defects, heart and thyroid issues, tuberculosis suspects, bronchitis cases, and other abnormalities among pupils. Interventions include free clinic treatment, dental corrections, glasses, adenoids removal, and referrals to family physicians, with 922 first-time examinations and 93 refusals.
Rev. J. B. Barbour, a cowboy evangelist, will open revival meetings at the Church of God starting Sunday March 4. A preparatory week includes cottage prayer meetings and church gatherings. Tonight a cottage meeting is at 427 Mechanic Street.

Auto damaged by fire in front of the Hamilton Hotel at about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Firemen extinguished the blaze, with the touring car sustaining slight damage and no injuries reported.
Emergency crews faced a blaze that intensified until chemicals were used to suppress it. A machine then drove away under its own power, signaling containment and clearance of the incident site.
