Worker Injured Near Fall at Washington County Hospital Site
Harry Miffler a steel worker on the Washington County Hospital construction nearly fell from a high girder Saturday. A fellow worker grabbed him by the feet and held him until others helped him back onto the girder. He suffered several fractured ribs and received hospital treatment.

President's Son Found Innocent in Court Martial
JACA Spain December 15 Luis Alcala Amora son of President Ni ceto Alcala Zamora and a corporal in the Spanish army was acquitted of insubordination. A court martial cleared him after a prosecutor said Zamora had no crime but discretion. He was arrested after the radical revolution in October. He had been charged with causing a disturbance by seeking discharge at the end of his term. One officer said the youth was unhappy about possible interference with his legal studies.

Dental Offices In City Are Entered
Two dental offices were entered and attempts were made to enter two others early Saturday morning. Robbers forced the doors of Dr. M. H. Cohen on West Washington street and the Baschoar Brothers in Public Square, seizing only a gold crown from Baschoar. Entry was attempted at Dr. C. B. Martin on South Jonathan street and Dr. T. R. Jenkins in the Kohler Building Lena. Dr. Cohen told Patrolmen A. C. Castle and Roy Stoner he woke to a noise around 7 o'clock Saturday and found the door forced open.

Washington December 27 Majorities in both houses are forecast to approve the cash bonus bill. Representative Wright Patman says at least 300 House members and 70 Senators are pledged to vote for payment via U S Treasury notes with no new taxes. Four Youths Die In Massachusetts Highway Crash
Four members of the Citizens Conservation Corps were killed as a truck carrying them to church skidded into a concrete post on a hill near Great Barrington Massachusetts. The four were Benoit Helie 19 Holyoke James Lavery 18 Cambridge Francis Kippenberger 18 Revere Elden Holland 19 Chelsea. Ralph Pinta 19 East Boston suffered a crushed skull and was not expected to survive. The crash occurred during hail and snow on a slippery road.
