Fire destroys barn on Franklin Realty farm near Red Bridge Park
A large barn on the Franklin Realty Company farm at Red Bridge Park near Chambersburg was swept by fire Thursday night, killing a herd of cattle and destroying farm equipment and crops valued in the thousands. Damage was estimated at about $7,000. Origin of the fire remains undetermined.
