Mrs Madelene Hichelberger was informed by the War Department that her husband Pfc Bezi Eichelberger was killed in action on the western front March 14 after being listed missing. An infantryman of Patchs 7th Army he served 18 months overseas in North Africa Italy France and Germany. He had two years in the Army with basic training at Fort Brage NC. He was formerly employed by D A Stickell and Sons and is survived by his wife a young daughter Phyliss Ann his parents four brothers in the service and several sisters all of this city plus relatives in Maryland and Georgia.

Rev. Paul B Holdcraft of Summit Avenue learned by telegram that his nephew Pvt. Robert M Holdcraft age 19 was killed in action in Germany on March 22. He served in the 376th Infantry of the Third Army. He was a Baltimore Polytechnic Institute graduate and attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. His father J M Holdcraft served in World War I and was with the Army of Occupation of the Rhineland after the Armistice.
