Airport Zoning Board Appointed Near Batavia

County commissioners appoint a five member airport zoning board to draft a code for airspace within four miles of the Taylor Road airport near Batavia. Members include Owen Billingsley Bud West John E Wilson Robert Ferguson and William Schroer. A separate airport zoning board of appeals may use the same members. Attorney advisor Donald Buckley to assist. Clermont Executive Air Parks Inc gains charter to operate a flying field and related facilities on Taylor Road with D G Lach as president.

Harsha to Speak at Clermont GOP Fund Dinner

Congressman William H. Harsha of Ohio sixth district will keynote the Clermont County Republican Fund raising dinner on October 6 at Stile meadow Country Club. The $15 per plate event is organized by the Republican Central and Executive Committees with 200 tickets sold by committee men and leaders. William Mussey chairs the dinner and promises entertainment, noting tickets and reservations through 737.

Amelia Felicity High School Football Rescheduled for 8 PM Tonight

The Amelia Felicity game was moved from Friday to tonight at 8 p.m. on the Baron's field. Amelia athletic director Tom Jones announced the date change last week. Constable Hurt In 3 Car Wreck In Summerside

Police Constable Paul Herrmann was injured in a three car crash at the Summerside Road intersection with old Rt. 74. Pedro White and Robert Penders were the other drivers. White was cited for failure to yield after his Whitson car ran a stop sign.

The commissioners schedule a 10 a.m. October 30 public hearing on PUB Water projects including a 130000 booster pumping station and a 5100 foot reinforced main from Clough Pike to Gien Este-Williamsville Road. De Molay Chapter Installs Officers in Bethel

The Earl F. Staff Chapter No. 150 De Molay in Bethel held a ceremony at the Masonic Temple on Saturday night September 16 installing twenty one new officers. Zone Change Reversed By Miami Trustees

The Miami trustees reversed a commission grant for Argo Co. of Mt. Carmel a plumbing contractor to use the tract as headquarters and storage for equipment. Owned by Betty G. Gailey and Ruth G. Dixon residents objected and the county topography raised access concerns making highway entry hazardous.

Physician Held To Grand Jury In Narcotics Case

Dr. Albert McEllane 44, Williamsburg physician, bound over to the Grand Jury after a Clermont County Court hearing on narcotics charges. He posted a $5000 bond set by Judge Ralph A. Hill after arrest Aug. 1 at his mother’s Cincinnati home. charged with failing to maintain narcotics records from 1963 to July 1967. Jackson R. Lawry, State Narcotics Inspector, filed the charge with Williamsburg Police Chief Robert C. Vice assisting.
