Citizens prepare for a large McKinley event at Swing's Park Batavia on October 6. A 150 seat speaker’s stand and shade prepared. audience capacity six thousand, with bands and a 200-voice chorus. Committees appointed for arrangements reception stage and grounds.
The ninth annual Fitzpatrick-Donham reunion will be held in the grove on the old Fitzpatrick homestead near Nicholsville October 10 1891. All are invited with baskets. Good speaking and music expected. President T B Nichols secretary Minnie Fitzpatrick.
