Dodson Smysor Wedding in Franklin at Baptist Church
Hazel Dodson of Franklin Kentucky married Paul Allen Smysor of Newtonsville Ohio in a seven oclock Wednesday ceremony at the Baptist church officiated by Rev J G Bar. The service featured a ring ceremony with flowers candles and a fountain. Attendants included Mrs Lawrence McCreary matron of honor Miss Sybil Dodson maid of honor Miss Freda Smysor bride’s maid and William Smyser best man. After the ceremony the couple planned a eastern trip then residence in Gainesville Florida. Out of town guests included relatives from Newtons e Ohio and Pasadena California. Raymond Morgan of Withamville was fined for disorderly conduct by Sheriff Croswell and Mayor Larkin.

Miss Edna Spires of College Hill was seriously injured when her car skidded on slippery roads near Stonelick and hit a concrete wall. Dog Law Clarifies License Transfers and Kennel Rules
Ohio Attorney General Edward C. Turner rules that a dog sold or given away during a license year may still wear the original owner's license tag, with a required transfer certificate. Kennel licenses do not cover all animals in a kennel. A dog bought from another state requires that state's tag not substitute for Ohio. Turner also says judges in office August 10 cannot receive the salary increase, and funds may be transferred before January 1, 1928 as postponed by the Jones tax law.

Columbus Ohio September 20 millions of dollars added to corn crop values in the last two weeks due to warm September weather. At least 15000000 bushels boosted the yield though about a quarter remains unfavorably positioned.
