Ground was broken for a $60,000 medical facility west of the village on U S 52. The Lindale School for Retarded Children, operating at 128 St Batavia and previously housed at Lin Baptist Church, will be renamed Clermont County Special Classes. Funded by tax money and Red Feather donations the school seeks a hot lunch program and supplies to support 48 students and teens helping in kitchen duties. Gailey Withdraws Incinerator Plans in Milford Hearing
Walter Gailey withdrew his plan for an incinerator at a zoning hearing in Miami township hall on Rt 50 near Perintown. His attorney cited state law giving site selection and disposal recommendations to the county planning commission with county commissioners approval. Worker Dies In Plant Accident At Beckford Station
J E Frewer Sr 51 of Chuncula Ala a pipefitter at Beckford Station of Cincinnati Gas and Electric Co west of New Richmond fell 110 feet to his death Tuesday. County coroner Dr Phillips Greene said Frewer suffered skull and back fractures. Frewer was employed by Oberle Jodre Corp of Richmond Ind a subcontractor and had been on the job since last Thursday.

Clermont County schools will offer college credits this year through a TV course titled The American Economy. Miami University and the University of Cincinnati co sponsor with CBS network.
