Dr W S Ellsberry dies suddenly at his Bethel office on Saturday September 9 while in active practice. He had practiced medicine 48 years and was a member of the M E church and K of P lodge. He leaves one sister Ann in Bethel. Funeral was from the residence with burial in the home cemetery. A good citizen is gone by his death.

Perry F. G. Clark of Clermont county turns 102 while in good health. A lifelong Democrat who has voted in every presidential election since 1835, he is Milford area’s oldest resident and sole survivor of twelve children. He was born September 19 1814 in Mt. Carmel after his father Perry Clark served as a Revolutionary War officer. He later became a Cincinnati contractor and builder before retiring to Milford sixteen years ago.
