The plan tests all cows upon petition. quarantines untested cows if 75 percent tested. costs borne by owners, likely under 75 cents per cow. Suspect cows may be disposed of with possible owner reimbursement. Twenty three Scioto county farmers measured loss from open barnyard manure, estimating plant-food loss at high levels. some farmers covered barns or moved manure to fields to reduce loss.

Roth Elected Burley Growers' Leader in Ohio
