Escape From County Jail Through Open Window

Bloodhounds followed the trail to Stenelick before scent was lost, and authorities warn to remove window weights and secure the opening as repairs proceed. Family Reunion at Bantam Grounds Delights Relatives
Forty four years after a September gathering at Joel Hoover's near Felicity, the Love family hosted the annual reunion at Elmer Ely's Fairview in Bantam. Sixty seven guests from Georgetown Felicity Moscow Amelia Harriet Batavia Baldwin and Cincinnati enjoyed a watermelon feast after music games and renewing old ties. The next reunion is set for the first Saturday in September 1919.

Death of Edward Ulrey Permanent Soldier Returns Home
Edward Ulrey died suddenly in Salt Lake City Utah prompting telegrams to his Ulrey brothers. He formerly conducted mercantile business in Georgetown and was a Civil War veteran. A daughter in Toledo is his survivor whose husband left for East Lake City after the news. Remains to be buried in Milford Clermont county.

Escape attempt by German prisoners at Camp Sherman
