A site on the N. W. road near Keen coal yard is bought from Mr Cappell for a large tobacco warehouse. The 190 by 200 foot building will have a flat roof and shed room for loads of tobacco, with foundation work starting as lumber arrives.
Nicholas White of Williamsburg wed Lucile Chatterton of Delaware at her home September 6 before about one hundred guests. White is a furniture maker, son of James H. White, and Lucile is the daughter of the late Harry Chatterton, OSU graduate. After a brief Great Lakes honeymoon, they will reside in a new Williamsburg bungalow.
A missionary tea was held at the home of Mrs L L Johnson on Friday evening September 12 at 7 80 o clock. Each entertainment committee member is privileged to invite one guest.
The Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Fox Hunters Association designates the week starting October 27 for its annual meeting, establishing West Union as headquarters. Large preparations planned with more hunters and hounds expected than ever, with several noted hounds from Batavia and nearby areas entered.

A. Pattison of Bethel resigned from the county board of school examiners after two terms. N. B. Heidlebaugh, superintendent of the northern district, was appointed to fill the vacancy and began duties immediately. He is described as well qualified, valued, and popular.
