Two Men Fined for Assault Near Williams Corner

Longworth Death Reported in Felicity Village
George C Longworth of Felicity died suddenly at his home on Sunday afternoon. Found by his wife when she went to call him to dinner. Born near the village, he spent his life there and was engaged in local business for years. Survived by widow Margaret McMurchy Longworth, son George J Longworth, and daughter Mrs Mary Kate Liming.

Eight county teams Amelia Batavia Owensville Goshen New Richmond Bethel Felicity will play seven games each with a single champion to represent Clermont County in the Southwestern Tournament in Cincinnati next spring. Public Open House At Batavia School This Sunday
Batavia public school invites parents and friends to an open house Sunday afternoon September 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. The building has undergone interior and exterior redecorations by custodians Bob Jones and Alvin Kilgore. A new fuel oil heating plant is being installed. The manual arts workshop moves to the annex, and home economics shifts to the old workshop, freeing a new classroom. Mesh screens and iron guards are added to rear windows.

Plane Crash Near Bethel Airport Kills Two
A plane crashed near Bethel Airport Friday at 7 p.m. killing pilot Joseph Pinson, 25, and passenger Delbert Beatty, 20, both Bethel residents. Witnesses say one landing was attempted, the craft climbed and side-slipped into a farm field near John Heid's property. An explosion and fire hampered recovery for hours. Pinson had been practicing take-offs and landings prior to the accident.

Car Hits Milk Truck on Route 125 Near Bethel
On Route 125 near Bethel August 25 a milk truck driven by Edward Shirmer turned left as a car attempted to pass. Both vehicles were damaged. Ford Bohl drove the car. Shirmer was fined for failing to signal. Ralph T. Helms of Bethel was arrested and fined for reckless driving. State Highway Patrol made the arrests.
