John Logan Captured After Milford Shooting Pursuit
John Logan, a colored man and ally of Frey, who aided at the Cooper shooting, was captured at Mt Repose by Deputy West and Marshal Ackley. Indicted for carrying concealed weapons, he had been in hiding. He resisted nothing on arrest and is jailed. Henry Broadus posted $200 bond for his Oct term appearance. Judge Prather presided with Auditor Temple and Mr Broadus as sureties.
