Elder Wolfs celebrate 50th wedding anniversary in Myrtle Beach

Nicolas and Annette Wolf, both in their early seventies from New Richmond, just marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Myrtle Beach. It was their first vacation by air, first ocean sight, and first trip outside the Cincinnati area. The journey earned praise for the weather and beachfront rooms, while relatives urged continued travel.

Clermont group to picket Stop-N-Go stores Saturday

Clermont County Citizens Concerned for Community Values will picket seven Stop-N-Go locations Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to protest seven or eight magazines they deem pornographic. Rev. James Riley, pastor at Mt. Carmel United Presbyterian, leads the local CCCV chapter and links the action to National Pornography Awareness Week.

Dr Richard Lancaster requested rezoning a one plus acre Vermont Drive site from A-1 Residential to O-1 Office to protect future investments. Leonard Gilman and Jane Dickerson sought to convert Len's Barber Shop from a single family residence to B-1 Neighborhood Business on Old Ohio 74 near Glenridge Lane.

Clermont County Disaster Services director Ken Conover warned that his agency could face a 50 percent budget cut for 1986, from $38 000 to $19 000, risking service levels despite heavy volunteer involvement.
