Illness, Deaths of Mrs. Anna Titus and Dr. Nelson E. Bradley

Mrs. Anna Titus widow of Joseph Titus died suddenly after apoplexy at her Batavia home last Wednesday aged 61. Funeral at Mrs. Irane Hulick’s home, burial in Union cemetery. Dr. Nelson E. Bradley died at his Batavia home after a lingering illness due to heart disease, age 58. Funeral at his residence and grave service in Felicity with Masonic rites.

Boden and Henry Lead Meetings at Monterey Church

W H Boden of Athens assisted by W J Henry of Cincinnati conduct meetings at Monterey Christian church. Services began Sunday October 22 and continue nightly. Boden is a fine speaker and attendees will be benefitted. Subjects include What think ye of Christ and The voyage of life. Mrs Kate Robinson, formerly of Batavia, visits Williamsburg relatives.

Memorial tribute to Harvey M. Edwards founder of Miami family

A funeral tribute recalls Harvey M. Edwards born 1851 in Newtown Clermont County. He farmed at Perintown Milford and served on the Clermont County Fair Board and Perin town school board. Survived by his wife, daughter, and a Yale student son, he died October 17 1911 from a brain tumor following a past injury.

Popular Young Couple Wed After Bethel Norwood Union

Miss Blanche Willis of Bethel and Jack Thompson of Norwood married on the 28th. Willis is Postmaster Willis’s daughter and an elocutionist who will lecture this season. Thompson is an architect with Kemper-Thomas Co of Cincinnati. They will reside on East Walnut Hills in the spring.

Indictments Returned in Common Pleas Court Roster

The court lists eight indictments with defendants including Sackett Davis Stroup Rutherford Temple Swem Gaskins Kennedy McKibben and Trulock.
