Fire Destroys Bee Farm Near Bethel
A barn at the Walter Bee farm near Bethel burned last Thursday causing a loss of about 31000. Five head of cattle, machinery, and feed were destroyed. The fire was started by a cigarette butt in refuse on the barn floor, allegedly by 17 year old County Freq Gaskins who is bound over to the grand jury on non support charges.

The Caldwell farms were sold last weekend drawing about 500 people and totaling 55750. Ralph and Marie Oster bought the home farm for 21000, Arthur Schell purchased the poultry farm for 20000, Harry and Mary Appel acquired another farm, and Clinton Green bought the one acre tax. Strathman to Open Watch Repair Shop in Batavia

Heckathorn resigns as Clermont County Home superintendent
