Lyman Shumard a former Cler monter died at his home in Carthage last Thursday from a stroke. He was 72 and the last of his SHUMARD family. His sister Mrs Vina Hulick died two months ago. Funeral services were held at his residence Saturday conducted by Rev. E Burdeau of Winchester with burial at Springboro CO. He leaves a wife and two grown children.
Questionnaires for the 18 year class and the 87 to 46 class were ordered released Friday by Provost Marshal General Crowder in all local board districts where other group classifications had been completed.
