Clermonter Hannold Former Bavarian Contractor Dies
Joseph F. Hannold a former Bavarian and sister of Mrs Hannah Kidd died in Cincinnati last Thursday of hardening of the arteries in his 81st year. Survived by two daughters Mrs Carrie Jordan and Mrs Anna Rob inson and son Ira all of the city. Funeral Saturday at 9 and burial Glendale. He was a prominent contractor and builder in the county for years and lived here with his family where his children grew to maturity. His wife preceded him.

O. J. Pyles an engineer on the N. and W. railroad between Cincinnati and Portsmouth was badly burned when an arch steam pipe burst while pulling a grade near Winchester. He was enveloped in steam and hot water and taken to Portsmouth for treatment where he is progressing well.

Boy Pleads Guilty in Rape Case at Juvenile Court
W. T. Smith a 14 year old colored boy pled guilty to rape of 10 year old Marie Gullin on Monday evening. Judge Young sentenced him to Lancaster Industrial School for Boys. Both youths and victim are described as colored and from the upper part of town.
