PUB Water Plant Open House In Clermont County
Clermont County Commissioners will open the PUB Water Treatment Plant with an open house on Friday October 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The $2.5 million expansion adds 10 mgd capacity and future wells. SCADA systems automate pumps and filters and monitor flow pressure and levels across the system.

Zimmer work discussed at public NRC CGE meeting
Represent tiven s of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and The Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company met on Tuesday October 19 for a technical discussion about the Zimmer Nuclear Power Station. The session at the Americana Inn near the Greater Cincinnati Airport was run by NRC Region II officials and open to the public with no participation scheduled. The NRC raised concerns about the quality assurance program for work by contractor Catalytic Inc of Philadelphia, which has been at the Zimmer site for 18 months performing maintenance and earlier construction work.
