Amelia Square Dance Benefits Christmas Parade
Amelia Recreation Board and Amelia Christmas Committee sponsor a square dance to raise funds for the December Christmas Parade. The event is Saturday November 6 from 8 PM to 12 AM at St Bernardette Hall. Tickets cost $6 at the door or advance at the Amelia Municipal Building and E Z Park Delicatessen. Disabled veterans meeting on benefits explained October 27
Clermont County Chapter 63 of the Disabled American Veterans hosts a session on the full range of federal benefits for disabled veterans and families. DAV benefits experts, including National Service Officers, will counsel attendees on disability compensation, pensions, hospitalization, death claims, employment rights, and other entitlements. The DAV, a nonprofit service organization, spans 280 officers nationwide with many Vietnam veterans among them.
