Wendell Kline a Batavia grocer for fifty years suffered a paralysis stroke in Cincinnati after attending the funeral of Mrs. Burgett in Batavia. He was en route to his half sister's home in Mt. Washington and was taken to St Mary's hospital in a semi conscious state. Friends regret his illness and note he had planned a Florida trip soon.
