Clermont Airport to hire new manager and expand facility

Clermont County considers expansion with a 20x100 ft maintenance hangar and a plan for $2.8 million FAA funding. Mike, a local pilot, hopes to host an air show at Clermont airport on 4180 Big Road Batavia while inviting all residents to Fly-in Breakfasts. He soloed at 16 and earned his pilot license in 1965. He recently moved from Louisville with wife Connie and two children to 149 Wilmer Street near Williamsburg Elementary School.

Three annexations could double Williamsburgs size

CNE’s WCNE radio may gain new programming direction

A five member committee led by Superintendent Budd G. Hegele will study possible changes to WCNE FM programming at Clermont Northeastern. They found patchwork wiring in the station’s electronics and plan to broaden service while maintaining the facility built a decade ago under a grant. Funding details are noted as continuing.
