Ohio to bid guardrail and drainage along US 50 in Clermont
Ohio Department of Transportation will open bids in Columbus on November 6 for guardrails and a drainage facility along 17.8 miles of US 50 in Clermont County. Estimated engineering and construction cost is 330000 dollars. The project, funded by Federal-Aid Hazard Elimination Program and state funds, runs from Adamson Road in New Richmond to Brown County line with traffic maintained throughout. Completion is target by June 30, 1981.

The Nine Mile sewer project aims to serve 2300 families in West Clermont County mostly south of SR 125 with an estimated cost of 12 110 500. EPA granted 8 006 475 or 75 percent in May 1980. Bids on 1.8 Road content plant and collection lines ranged widely with about 15 bidders. Estimated collection line bids about 3 million each and the plant 2 to 2.5 million. Public hearings occurred April 30 1979 at Williamsville Tabasco School amid environmental concerns raised by Dr. David Fankhauser.
