Goshen Hands Amelia First Loss in Four-Team Clash
Goshen rolled to a 14-6 victory over Amelia, handing the Barons their first defeat of the season. Downey rushed for 131 yards and Jay Dale hit for six, while Mark Crouse added 65 yards on 15 carries as Goshen pulled ahead in a tight game. Amelia coach Charlie Carpenter said the team was mentally unprepared. Goshen heads to New Richmond, Amelia travels to Western Brown, both Friday night.
