Death of Mrs Amelia Mattox Bonnell at Astoria Illinois
Intelligence notes the death of Mrs Amelia Mattox Bonnell at Astoria Illinois on the 2d instant in her 82nd year. She was born in 1814 in Illinois and married Henry Bonnell in 1834. The Bonnells moved to Griggsville in 1850 where her husband ran a harness shop. they had eleven children, eight living, with several families named across Illinois. Mrs Bonnell was a longtime Methodist and well regarded in Clermont. Mary Swine relocates to Bantam. Mary McDonald to Swing homestead. Deputy Treasurer Allen now occupies McDonald’s vacated house.
