Gold Mine in Clermont County Attracts Unusual Attention
The Clermont county gold mine on the Robert Titus farm in Stonelick township shows real gold production after weeks of work with a brief intermission for machine construction. Herman Westner of Cincinnati University analyzed the ore and will present findings to Pathe News. A new ripple board washing 85 yards daily was built, gasoline power drives operations and water is plentiful. Promoters include E. K. Moyer, Robert Titus, Frank Lakemire, Frank Lush, Ray Harvey and Gilbert Radclift.

School Boy Robbed at Batavia by Unknown Pair
Recco, a 15 year old Batavia high school student and son of Lee Spennelli, was assaulted Tuesday evening near Batavia while working on his auto. He was struck with an iron bar, robbed of $3.40 and a sack of flour, and left unconscious in a ditch. W. G. Ellis and his father found him. Dr. Van Horn gave first aid. No clue to the robbers.

Pfeffer Family Welcomes 17th Child at Hoaglands Crossing
Mr and Mrs Louis Pfeffer announce the birth of a son their 17th child all healthy including one set of twins. The last arrival was April 8 1982 a boy. A Pfeffer daughter recently trained as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital Cincinnati and helped at the birth. Neighbors say the home celebration matched that of a firstborn and the Pfeffers are praised as a county pride.

Williamsburg Boy Falls From Iron Bridge to Creek
A Williamsburg schoolboy Allen Amiott aged 16 fell from the iron bridge north of town while playing with Edward Livengood last Thursday afternoon. He died instantly from a broken neck after landing in the creek. Undertaker Isaac Maham removed the body to the funeral home and coroner Sam W. White viewed the remains. Verdict was accidental death.

New Salary Schedules For Ohio School Districts Near
