Silver Anniversary of the 59th Ohio Volunteers at Felicity
The 50th veterans marked a silver anniversary in Felicity with a record turnout. About 6 000 attended the grove event from Felicity and surrounding towns, with 300 veterans and many relatives and friends. Speakers included Rev William H Childers R J McKinley and Gen G W Hulick. The roster showed 147 names for the Felicity gathering and 158 from other regiments, totaling 400 veterans.

Burned Trestle Delays Train and Injures Workers on C G P Line
A Cincinnati special on the Cincinnati Georgetown and Portsmouth road was held up over two hours by a fire damaged trestle at Halington between Columbia and Georgetown. Five workers tried to replace timbers and a heavy stringer fell, injuring Ashley of Amelia and Bartley of Bethel with possible fatal outcomes. Murphy Case Upheld. Prison Sentence Orders Executed
In the Murphy case last week the Circuit court sustained the court below and ordered the four year penitentiary sentence executed. The prisoner was taken to Columbus by Sheriff Teal Monday night.
