State fish and game warns violators on updated squirrel law
Chief D O Thompson said willful violators will be prosecuted. Two thousand notices were sent to township and county clerks and dealers selling licenses to erase old statutes and hand buyers the correct law. The pamphlet states only red squirrels may be hunted, no red squirrels are found here, and limits of five rabbits and two cock pheasants per day.
