Owensville claimed the league title by beating Mt. Carmel 8 to 4 before the county’s largest crowd, with over 800 attendees and $200 added to Mt. Carmel’s treasury. Witschger pitched strong, fanning ten through five, while Owensville slugged late aided by a Witschger triple and key hits.
