Gov Harry L Davis will address voters in New Richmond on Wednesday Oct 16 and also speak at Moscow and Chile. Citizens of Southern Clermont are urged to attend to hear him discuss plans for the Ohio River Road and related topics before voting.
Hamilton county officials announce October 1 as the traffic stop date to demolish the old Milford bridge. A temporary foot bridge with barrels and cages will be installed. Ross Hickey promises completion within 24 hours and is ready with a Ford for immediate operation after the stop. C M & B Traction Co will remove rails by October 1 while keeping limited service via transfers at the river. Blue Bus lines will continue with river transfers. The new bridge is set to reopen by December 1.
N B Heidlebaugh wife and niece Velma Veary were riding Sunday when their car skidded off a hill near Mt Moriah cemetery. The vehicle turned over twice. Velma Veary injured her back and was taken to hospital. Mrs H sustained minor injuries. Mr Heidlebaugh escaped unharmed. The party is improving.

Leslie Walker of Goshen lost a barn to a fire last Friday with reported loss of 800 dollars. Milford fire department fought the blaze and saved neighboring property with effort from firefighters and volunteers.

The all day reunion at Burdsall Chapel on Sunday September 21 marked the church’s 70th anniversary of dedication. Hon. Harry L. Davis Republican candidate for governor will address Hillsboro on Saturday afternoon October 11 at 2 oclock. If weather permits the gathering will be on Court House Lawn marking his first Hillsboro speech and expected to draw a large crowd. He will discuss campaign issues with emphasis on state matters.
