Very Reverend Vincent G. Savage S J rector of the Milford Novitiate died after a brief illness. He was 52 and had returned to Milford in 1961 after three years as president of St. Ignatius High School Chicago. Survived by three sisters in religion and a Jesuit nephew, his funeral Mass was held Tuesday.

County Youth Dies In Auto Accident
John Roberts 16 of Glen Este was killed when his car crashed into a utility pole on Clough Pike near Williamsville Glen Este Road. He was a senior at Amelia High School and died after being extricated from the wreckage. He is survived by his parents and sister Pauline Durbin. Services set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Powers-Nurse Funeral Home Amelia.

Two WC Educators Given Promotions
The West Clermont board of education promoted Warren Tipton to principal of Glen Este high school and Nick Visnic to principal of Glen Este junior high. Both schools open in September 1962. Tipton, a UC graduate and former Amelia junior high principal, has served in education and has military service in World War II. Visnic, a Marshall University graduate, was a high school administrator and counselor before joining West Clermont as high school counselor in 1960, with a prior Army service in the China-Burma-India theater.
