Robbers hit Moscow post office and Kinsey-Johnson paint store at midnight, stealing stamps a typewriter and an adding machine. About 2:30 they raided New Richmond post office, fled by Buick with evidence, were captured later in Cincinnati area, and identified as Charles E Rick and Raymond Hanna. They held eight $500 bonds, confessed, and were turned over to federal authorities for post office robbery.

Explosion Shocks Williamsbburg Citizens Friday Night
A heavy explosion near Williamsbburg at about 11 o’clock unsettled residents causing street gatherings and rumor. Some suspected robbers others meteor or dynamite use while hunters blamed a coon den. By press time the cause remained unknown as daylight brought renewed hunting. The following day rain cooled spirits and hunting resumed with sport improving along streams where rabbits sought water aided by rain.
