Original Musical Comedy Opens Fun at Goshen
The Goshen School Progress Association presents a two night musical comedy at the high school Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Entitled 50 years of life and love the show follows Laurie Campbell and Lucius Livingston from Ivy College 1917 to their 1967 anniversary with a large cast performing numbers such as Gaudeamus Igitur The Halls of Ivy Ballin The Jack and Here I Come Manhattan. net proceeds go to the PAL Fund aiding Goshen graduates with scholarships totaling 3400.

A Clermont County basketball preview event is set for Monday November 20 at 7 p.m. at Clermont Northeastern with six games priced 50 cents for students and 1 dollar for adults. Northeastern High Junior Wins 4 H Cattle Award
Danny Mhart, son of Mr and Mrs Stanley Chardt of Batavia, won a national 4 H Dairy Efficiency award at the Dairy Conference in Chicago and will attend the National Dairy Conference there November 18 to 23. He is a Clermont Northeastern High School junior and has been in 4 H seven years. He was one of six from Ohio chosen from 93 000 members to receive the honor and has judged dairy cattle at the Ohio State Fair. He also served as Junior 4 H Camp counselor and has interest from Ohio State University for enrollment after graduation.

Goshen Youths Implicated In Theft Charges
Clermont County Juvenile Court filings accuse several Goshen High School students of theft after items such as candy gum and soft drinks were found in lockers at the school. Eleven youths received five day suspensions believed to be tied to the milford Kroger thefts. Superintendent Robert Gower said the school served as a cache point for stolen goods. Some parents protest the suspensions were issued before court review.
