Her deft rendering impressed attendees and she stayed several days to deliver temperance lectures while Wayne township forms a 25 member temperance union with officers led by H Anna Quinby and Georgia Young.
Overnight blaze at Mt Pisgah destroys the M W A Hall after five o’clock Sunday morning. The lower story owned by C C Larkin valued at two hundred dollars and the upper at five hundred were insured, but fixtures were uninsured. The hall was new and not yet debt free, with a four month occupancy. Neighbors saved the adjacent house of Theodore Searles as people ponder the loss and local schedules.

Thomas White of Monterey died at home November 9 at age 60 4 18. He served in the 153 regiment O V I and belonged to the William Predmore post G A R. He was born in Jackson township and survived by Julia A. Hartman and seven children. His illness lasted months and his wife and children cared for him. First farmers institute in the county to be held at Bethel December 1 2. James C. McMath of Chicago attended Er W Buvinger’s funeral. R 8 Magee named Wabash railroad collector from St Louis to Decatur. Mrs T B Frazier Williamsburg presents Mrs Jarley’s Wax Works at Alreys Boston November 18 benefiting J H Jenkins W R C. J C Henderson of Withamsville praised as an institute president. Tickets for Old Maid’s Convention at Beck’s Pharmacy. Plush and buggy robes and horse blankets offered by Stirling Moore. Batavia electric lights project plans up with the secretary.
