Commissioners Hear Five Firms On Sanitary Planning
County officials met with five engineering firms Thursday and Friday to discuss sewer system planning. Each firm indicated willingness to proceed if paid only if the project is approved. Proposals and fees are to be submitted to county commissioners tomorrow. Firms represented included Alfred LeFeber and Associates Cincinnati Barbeau Engineering Management Batavia Vogt Ivers and Seaman Shaw Lenz and Associates and A M Kinney Co.

Three area men died in recent traffic accidents. Robert Gibbenmeyer, James Durham Jr, and Airman Frank Branam were killed in separate crashes on routes and streets near Mt. Holly and Cincinnati. Tony Haag was injured, treated at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, and released.
